We are renovating a 16th C cottage and I'm currently choosing paints.
We have a lot of beams, most of which have been painted black. I'm struggling to choose a black paint, not helped by DH insisting "black is just black, isn't it?". I'm looking for a warm, fairly soft black- definitely not blue-black. But it does need to read as black not brown or purple.
Wondered if anyone had found a black they liked?
