Notice for exchange

What sort of notice do you get before exchange, and then completion?

We are at final enquiries stage and hoping we are nearing the end. Just wondering how much notice we are likely to get before our exchange date?

Movers haven't replied to any quotes request which is frustrating... will they quote without a date?

So everybody needs to have completed the following before discussing completion dates:-

searches back
mortgage offer in
satisfactory replies to enquiries
report with contract to sign received

The removals should be able to price without a date.
