I have one (reasonably large) cupboard in my kitchen that, for some inexplicable reason, doesn't have a shelf in it. I've bought some of those "extra" shelf things from ikea, but they really aren't as good as having an actual shelf in the cupboard.
I've tried googling to see where I can buy an actual kitchen cupboard shelf, but am struggling to find them.
Is this something I could just go down to a DIY store like Wickes or B&Q and buy if I turn up with the dimensions? Obviously I'd need the little plug things that go in the side of the cabinet too.
Part of the battle is knowing what to google/search for on the DIY websites. If you put in kitchen cupboard shelf, you get loads of standalone shelves (which I might actually use too on another wall)
The kitchen must have been installed in the 1990s and is actually a very good quality solid wooden kitchen, but the missing shelf is a mystery that has long annoyed me!
Now I want to get rid of a lower cupboard to install a tumble dryer, so I need to find cupboard space elsewhere to replace it.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
