Moving to Burnham, near Slough

Hi. My son and young family are thinking of buying a new home in Burnham near the Grammar School.
I read a similar thread from 2018 about the problems with the secondary school and wondered how things are now?
My grandson isn't yet 1year old so they will be more interested in nurseries and places to meet other young families and are there areas to avoid?

I went to Burnham Grammar, but I'm in my 30s now so no up to date knowledge I'm afraid!

What problems have you heard about? I can't imagine it's suddenly turned in to an awful school? It's never been a top, top grammar school, but it's still a grammar school.

Sorry I meant there had been issues with the Secondary modern school not being so good, not the Grammar!!

They closed it. All non-grammar kids have to travel to other schools in Buckinghamshire, Slough or Maidenhead.
