Tap water filter

We are moving and I'd like to have a water filter for drinking. Do you have one at home? Would you recommend?
I'm not after the boiling tap water ones but just would like cleaner filtered water to drink for the family.

Yes I have one and yes I would recommend it. We can really taste the water (chlorine) sometimes when the filter needs changing. Ours is the Franke triflow - bought in 2009 for around £300. Filters cost about £45 (Franke) or half that for non-brand. filter needs changing approx every six months. Only down side with our system is you can't buy a filter that removes all the trace metals/chlorine etc AND the calcium.

That's great to hear. I will look into Franke.
Really hoping more people can share their experiences.
