Hi, I am in dilemma as to which wall paint colour to go in my living room. It’s north east facing with a big skylight as such the room has got good light…the decorators start painting within 2 days and I am yet to decide on paint colour. I looked a nutmeg white, timeless, almond white and just walnut but so far none of them seem to be looking good. I thought Almknd white will look good but it’s looking too creamy/yellowish….the only furniture which I have at the moment which I am going to reuse is a beige sofa. Please if you all can suggest a good wall paint colour which is not too over bearing and will make the room look bright and happy it’s going to be tremendously helpful for me..I am attaching a picture of my room for reference

I would suggest getting test from the DIY store and put them on different walls to decide. The light will that comes I will give you a good idea of what the colour looks light at night. It’s also very dependent upon the bulbs you use. Warm or cook. 👍🏼

Yes, I bought a few from b&q but didn’t like any so I thought will check it here if anyone has a suggestion that I can try

Dulux colour of the year is Wild Wonder and I love it. It’s possibly darker than you want though, if you’ve been looking at the whites. Rock Salt is an almost white.
