I have got to get new tiles sorted and I'm struggling. Please help me find something current and neutral.

I found lovely sand marble effect but they are shiny and I don't want to be forever polishing.

looking at matt and semi polished in sand beige ivory cream tones. I am not going grey but don't mind grey or brown tones.

currently got very old bathroom in peach but its really neutral and restful so dont want to go pattern or those shiny metro tiles particularly in teal.

my fave ones are about £33/m2 so not cheap cheap. I'm not too budget conscious but have seen lots on tile mountain which my fitters recommend.

I'd like to add some interest in the shower area but don't know if it will be too busy as not a huge bathroom but space for separate bath and shower.

Anyone recently fit a bathroom got any ideas to share?

@ZenNudist I find that plain white tiles with horizontal & vertical borders, or bands of dark tiles can work well. They are easy to clean, and you can get a variety of porcelain tiles to use for the borders. This is what I have done in my current bathroom- simple, but really brightens up the room: (excuse the lack of a bath panel, to be fitted soon!)
