Desperately hoping the hive mind can help - as you guys seem to know everything! I have a built in shower and the thermostatic valve doesn’t work- water permanently boiling hot and too hot for the kids to use. Have had various plumbers take a look, I need a replacement valve but the problem is there are no markings on the shower to say the make/ model (fitted before I moved in) so they don’t know what part they need. If I can’t work it out, then I’m looking at having to have the whole shower replaced and also retiling the entire bathroom as they need to break the tiles to remove the shower!
The back plate measures 28cm x 13cm and the middle knob should control the heat, the top knob works the overhead shower and the bottom one the side shower
