I've been reading about cracks/extensions as wondering if we need to get ours checked too (looks different from this). It all sounds a bit scary when you look online, but I wouldn't panic yet, most stuff sounds pretty dealable. Fingers crossed for you. Are you getting someone to look at it?

You need a builder pronto to assess the cause and fix this problem. Check with your house insurance in the first place

The crack looks the same width all the way up, is it?
Is that cement running vertically or a sealant?
What does it look like inside?

I suspect they’ve either not tied it in very well or used screw ties and it’s just the centra has cracked. If nothing has moved then it should be a fairly easy fix.
I would get a structural engineer to assess it and tell you what to do.

That looks worrying. Did you do the extension? Have you got a completion certificate from Building Control?
