I have asked the property agent I let my flat through to serve a section 21 notice as the property is being sold. I am now told that as the selective licensing law expires on the 31st July, it might cause a problem. I am waiting to hear back from them after they have consulted with their solicitor, but wondering if anyone can shed any light on this? I can’t see why I wouldn’t legally be able to serve notice?
