Quooker tap with cube

We are about to have a new kitchen installed and are looking at quookers. Is it worth it and is the sparkling water nice and sparkling? For what it’s worth we drink a lot of sparkling water

We’ve been considering this too but at present the whole thing is some 3 grand and we can’t justify that for what is basically a tap. Take a look on eBay as I did see a number of heavily discounted units there if you’re prepared to piece it together - ex display or unwanted gift type adverts.

We didn't get cube but normal one with filtered water is brilliant and definitely worth it. Saves you boiling the kettle over and over when you're cooking and makes good tea. If I hadn't gotten one I would have gotten a filter on the tap.

We've just got the standard Qooker tap which is ace. (I mean it's not thing I most love in the world, but it's handy)

Wish I'd got the filtered water one as you have to let it run a bit to get cold water out of it.

We have the ordinary boiling water Quooker, and there are two fairly big tanks under the sink. No idea if a sparkling water one would add more though.

I love ours.

I probably would advise to avoid one if you live in an area with really hard water. The limescale causes problems with instantaneous hot water devices.

There's a water softener that comes with the Quooker though - we've had ours for 4 years and still haven't needed to change the cartridge that it comes with (and we're in a hard water area)
