Hi everyone,

I am a complete DIY novice and I need some help please. I am going to start decorating soon and I have noticed that a lot of the corner beading on the edges of my wall are exposed (like in the pic attached).

I am going to be painting the walls white and wanted to know if there is any way I can cover the beading? I have tried to put pollfilla on it but that doesn't seem to work.

Is there anything else I can do to cover it? I don't want it shoring through once I've painted the walls.

Thanks.

There are metal strips available that u can buy and cut to stick it there and put readymix jointing compound on top and then sand after two days left to dry
sorry it sounds confusing but this is what I watched my husband do in the corners

Paint will cover it, you don’t need to stick anything on it. We’ve always just painted over it, or you could put lining paper up and then paint the lining paper. It feels a bit warmer than just painting on plaster and saves you doing a separate mist coat.
