How much do you think this would be?

Just wondering if anyone could give me a very rough idea of how much I would be looking at to extend my kitchen (by 1m x 2m roughly), new bifolds and new kitchen. Just trying to work out very roughly how long it would to take for me to afford it / whether it’s worth it, before I go to effort of getting quotes :) I’m in the North West.

Floor plan attached of before & after so you can see what I’m trying to achieve! Currently the kitchen area & family room is very disjointed so I’m just trying to figure out best way to use space and layout. Any alternative suggestions also very welcome!

extending can be quite expensive and there are a hell of a lot of dodgy tradesmen out there at the moment. Do not trust sites like my builder or trust a trader etc they don’t do any proper checks. Maybe go into b and q or wickes / howdens and see a quick design sometimes just taking a wall out can make the difference. To see if they can alter your kitchen and ask about costings. Please make sure you pay for your kitchen via credit card it offers insurance and a lot of house hold insurers are not currently paying out for bodge jobs.

Ok thank you, that’s a good idea ! Yes have heard lots of horror stories about dodgy trades people so that’s definitely something I want to try avoid!
