Local searches

I am currently selling a flat and my conveyancer says the buyers solicitors are still waiting for a local search to be completed its been about two weeks or so now. They said they don't know how long it will take, just wondering what other people's experiences have been of this, waiting times etc

Depending on the area anything from 2-4 weeks is fairly normal. Once the searches are back, there may be additional enquiries the solicitor may want to raise.
