hello, I've recently declared myself as ' homeless at home ' & I am currently waiting for a house on Manchester move but the wait can be years.. the homeless housing solutions team have advised me to go private they will pay deposit and first months rent and as long as I live in the private I can still bid on band 2 manchester move, can anyone clarify that this is true? I'm worried they will move me back up to band 4 if I go private
