Downstairs WC door ideas

6 replies

Monty27 · 17/07/2023 23:37

I've bought a 1980s built house with a downstairs WC right by the front door.
I would like to replace the door to the WC.
I'm thinking say 8 paned opaque windowed door to promote light. Each pane in different colours. Any ideas where I could buy find it?
TIA

www.doorsofdistinction.co.uk/interior_doors/internal-oak_doors/Churchill-oak_doors.html plus coloured film. Make sure it's flat not bevelled glass. They probably do a white version too.

A glass door on the loo? I wouldn't if the toilet is in view (even if it looks coloured and wobbly due to glass). What about a high window near the top or door.

Thanks for the ideas. Very interesting.
@Jujubes5 it would be opaque.

If it's opaque then it won't let light through. You would need it to be translucent and as has been said, I wouldn't recommend that for a toilet door.
