Anyone sold off land/ outbuildings and can give me an idea of how arduous/ long the process takes.
I have planning permission, a buyer (family member but not a connected person for cgt purposes), a solicitor who dealt with my initial purchase. I need to write a letter to the bank (how old fashioned!) to request they agree to the variation of security.
Family member was offered a mortgage which is only valid for 28 days which I think is nowhere near long enough. Although I don’t think they’d struggle to get another.
