Renovation insurance

Can anyone recommend where to get insurance when doing a whole house renovation? We would not be living here during the build. I got a quote from renovation plan and it was 9k!

Talk to brokers.

Also, I wonder if the quotes will go down if you tell the broker that whilst you won't be living there, you will be going there daily to inspect?

You need site insurance, try someone like Protek, can fill forms out online.
Think I paid £1400 for 12 mths ..

..also if you're doing whole house rebuild, look up buildhub , highly recommend renovation, build forum..
There's lots on insurance, etc on there..
