Kitchen sink keeps leaking despite being fixed!

Past two years I've been plagued with a leaking kitchen sink.
I've had the plumber out 4 times, first time they thought it was a leaky value. Got that fixed.
carried on leaking. So came out another 3 times found a huge leak behind the sink so ripped out the cabinet, ripped out the sink and redid the whole thing.

Not more than 7 months later the sink is leaking again and going mouldy (was mouldy before as they reused most of the wood!). Also have woodlice in the cabinet now. Just ran the water then stopped it and can hear water dropping after it's switched off.

The house is rented. The agency can't seem to figure out why it keeps leaking and neither can I. They've asked the plumber to come back asap but could take a week or two.

Where do I stand with this? They've just recently put my rent up and there's two kitchen cabinets I can never bloody use due to the leaking mouldy sink and woodlice.

Just to add most of the house was botched job by the landlord. Lots of various issues.

Are they sending the same plumber every time? If so, he can't find the source of the problem and you need a different contractor.

Where is it leaking from?

The drain?

Around the worktop?

The tap?

The back behind the actual board. It's leaking water all down the wall and onto the floor.

Nope, two different plumbers from different companies. To be fair the first one did nothing, it was the second one who figured it out.

Now theyre sending the first plumber who couldn't even figure out where the leak was. 😳

If it's any consolation, I live in an absolutely gorgeous rental that we pay a lot of money for that's riddled with shit things like this where she employed cheap contractors to build it, and continues to employ cheap contractors to maintain it.

It looks very, very pretty, but it drives us batshit on a daily basis.

It's not that easy to get good contractors at the moment either.

Surprise surprise they came out today took 5 seconds and said it was the stop clock that hasn't even been leaking! And refused to even look at anything else.
I can still hear a tap tap leaking noise after turning the tap off. 😫
