Glazed front door

We have a very dark hallway and want to increase light with a fully glazed front door. It's an ugly 1980's house which we're trying to update with clean, modern aesthetic. We live in a very safe area so security isn't an issue. Can anyone recommend a front door - wood or metal, not UPVC - ideally fully glazed but with a letterbox? Would like black or far grey ideally. Thanks!

Are you sure this is a good idea from a safety point of view? I live in a so called good area and everyone round here is putting in totally solid wooden doors.

I live on a private drive, off a private road. In a terrace of houses with 5 neighbours who are either retired or work from home. Someone is always in! We also have a burglar alarm so if someone did try to smash the front door in someone would quickly be aware of it. I very much doubt our house looks worth it if you know what I mean!

Just to add o he safety, you realise glass doesn't insulate as well as a solid door, so it will be colder in the hall with that much glass. Is that likely to be a problem?

Don't really care about hallway being colder. Was thinking a double glazed door would lose about the same heat as a small window. We have a sheltered porch so not too exposed...

The hall doesn't have a window but is quite a large space, hence being dark and depressing
