We have a basement in our old Victorian semi which floods (covers most of the floor) whenever it rains. It’s coming up from under the tiles so we think rising ground water. We don’t use it as a habitable room but stores the bikes, camping equipment, larger bits of kit and a few electrical items.
Has anyone had a sump pump fitted and how much did it cost? Just trying to work out how much we need to save. Tanking isn’t an option for a few reasons. We have fitted an extract to try and keep damp air under control but it’s a bit futile if 30 litres of water is coming up whenever it rains.
