Driveway cleaning - advice on cost and "gaps" after finish

I got my driveway spray cleaned yesterday ( semi detached house with drive parking that fits 2 cars)

Cost was 600 which was to include
Spray clean and reseal
Finish was meant to stop weeds for 5 years

In the past the reseal has involved sand between the blocks

This time it was a foam which was supposed to expand and close the gaps

But... all I can see is gaps between the blocks...

Assume it has not been applied correctly... ? Anyone experienced this.

Am concerned if the gaps are left as this can cause the bricks to slip

Yeah block paving is a flexible surface, it needs to be kiln dried sand brushed into the gaps to spread the load when cars are driving on it. No idea what the foam is.

Worried I've been had.

I thought the foam would actually expand to fill the gaps:(

Go to Wickes and get yours elf a bag of kiln dried sand or two and sweep it into the gaps. Cost about 20 quid including the brush

As above kiln dried sand for the gaps.
If you put foam or cement in the gaps then you’ll get cracking and water pooling.
