DIY wardrobes

I'm looking to make a near enough wall to wall wardrobe out of MDF. Just wondered if anyone has any pics of ones they have done and how easy it was...or was it a nightmare?!

How about the standard ikea wardrobe carcass and then use mdf to fill in the edges? Look on pintrest for ideas.

A local carpenter can make a whole wall.of wardrobes with mdf but it's quite a skilled job to get it to fit exactly. Mdf is also quite heavy when you make big doors and can warp over time. Plus you need heavy duty hinges (or buy the ikea ones)
