Hi

Is there a data base or website where you can check if a property has been repossessed?

I don't believe so. It will usually be clear from the sales advert that this is the case. Most mortgage companies who repossess properties sell them. Is this a property you are interested in buying or nosiness about someone you know/something you've been told?

I always assume from Rightmove that when they are being sold by auction, ‘modern method of auction’ or by random non-local estate agents, or have lots of strange caveats to the sale in the description - they are the repossessions
