Upcycling head board

Hi!

I have a bloody ugly, grotty, headboard on my Superking bed. I’m super tight for money but I want to upcycle it as best I can for the cheapest way.

Had anyone done this before and if so, what did you do? I can see you buy ‘covers’ off Amazon but I can’t black super king ones!

should I just buy material myself? I have no idea where I’d look!

I saved buying a new headboard just bought new fabric and stapled over the top of the old stuff. You can buy fabric but that too can be expensive. Cheapest way to buy fabric is buying curtains. Either cheap new pair from Argos or Dunelm or second hand from eBay/charity shops.
