Just accepted an offer on my property

Hello MN, just accepted an offer for the asking price for my property that has been on market for a week.
This is not the first time in the past 4 years that the property has been on the market. Previously offers have been accepted and fallen through, and on one occasion i pulled as buyer was dragging their feet to respond to queries. Obviously I have lost money after instructing a solicitor and paying for a property management pack.
I wanted to know if there are key things/questions/requests I should ask the seller to determine how serious they are to proceed, prior to instructing my solicitors? Just so I feel reassured that i have taken into account everything within my control at this stage
Thank you

I'd expect the estate agent to do this? What do they say about the buyer, has the buyer produced proof of funds backing up.the offer?

Id keep chasing. Ask the estate agent what's going to happen next and what you need to do. Offer second viewings if wanted.

The main thing that was in your control in the very early stages was to choose a good estate agent. Hopefully you have done that so you can trust in them to do their job and get this sale to completion.

@Twiglets1 Thanks, I've used them to rent the property and they have been good. Hopefully I have the same experience with the sale
