Has anyone done this recently? Based in the NW. Planning to do it with a kitchen refurb so disruption shouldn’t be an issue.

We did this as part of our extension/kitchen build last year and cost us ÂŁ200, that was billed in with all the other plumbing jobs we had done. We literally moved it to the other side of a new wall that had been put up.

Really depends.

For a condensing boiler you need to move the flue, the condenser waste, the gas, heated water in, heated water out, cold water feed. The electric supply. The boiler control and the boiler itself. It could be easy or it could take a whole day.

Not sure whether 2.5m is allowable for a flue, so if so will they need to drill a new flue hole and cover the old. Also is there a good way of draining the condensate.

I think the problem is you would struggle at the moment to get someone in for a job like this at a low price. I would guesstimate about 1K but prices are wild at the moment, some people will tell you next to nothing, others a large amount.
