If you live near the beach, where do you live?

DH and I have spoken endlessly about relocating to somewhere near the beach. Work has always tied us to our current location but recent changes mean we can now take the plunge.

Ideally we need to be within an hour or so of Manchester for caring responsibilities. Where do you wise MN'ers recommend?

If you've relocated, do you regret it?

My house on the Wirral, quite close to lots of beaches, has gone live on rightmove today.

Close to brighton. Best decision I ever made, thank my lucky stars every day we made the move. Not close to Manchester though unfortunately.
