Where can you advertise a house to let?

I'm looking for new tenants for our house in Cambridge. It will be a private let as I've had bad experiences of agents in the past. But I'm struggling to find anywhere to advertise it. It seems like Rightmove, Zoopla and so on will only take listings from registered estate agents, and when I've tried Gumtree in the past, you just get a load of weirdos.

What would you recommend?

Nextdoor app
Local Facebook group
I’ve seen places listed for rent like this in our area, I don’t need a rental and have noticed them, so someone who knows their friend/brother or whoever is looking for a place will pass the info on.

Do they still do listings in the local newspaper?

Open rent might be worth your while. Sometimes full places pop up on Spare room. Definitely local FB groups and Next door.

Have sent you a PM.

Have you tried the local hospital or the university for visiting academics?

Openrent are great, they'll list your property on rightmove and sort out the contracts without the huge fees.
In Cambridge though the rental market is ridiculous, if it's a half decent place you won't have any problems letting it out.
It might be worth joining the local Facebook group for your area as there's always people asking if anyone knows places to rent too.
