Tiles conundrum.

Have attached image of tiles we ordered for bathroom. They're packed at random but can be split into 3 groups: heavily textured appearance, medium and plain ish. Question....

  • Leave the tiler to just tile as normal.
  • Sort the tiles so that they go on in a certain way. Eg more patterned tiles around bottoms of bathroom fading into less patterned near ceiling?

Is this a bit too.... particular? Am I overthinking?

I'd set them out on your floor in both patterns - random and then textured-medium-plain fade (sounds like it could end up looking a bit ombre) - then take a photograph of both layouts to see what they really look like, and which you prefer.

Personally I'd go with a random pattern.
