What is it and do I need one??

I'm buying a toilet to be fitted in a new loft bathroom and can see these being sold as an additional item.

I think it's basically a shower outlet for spraying your behind after you go.

It wouldn't be easy to make it comply with water regs though due to the tap water in the UK being drinking water. would need a pump and connect it to the cistern really to avoid risk of backflow.
