Wall colour - baby nursery / spare bedroom

hello! I want to paint our spare bedroom - currently has a small double bed and wardrobe. Its a guest room! It may however end up being a nursery one day. Any room colours anyone would suggest?

Can’t work out if I want to go bold or neutral - but obviously if I go bold with say a dark pink and have a baby boy in future it’s (a) not ideal and (b) hard to paint over. Hmm any suggestions?

Actually typing this I do want to go bold but can’t think of a suitable colour.

We have lemon and grey in our babies room, patterned wallpaper to one wall, the others painted white.

Are you even pregnant or trying? If not, why is it being a nursery one day even a consideration? Just leave it as is, or paint a colour you like now and revisit if and when you have kids.

Yes we have one Dc and will be trying for another later this year so a second Dc is a possibility if we are lucky. However we want to paint the room over this summer as DH and I have a week off together and are staying at home - it also needs doing to be honest. We aren’t good with diy and if possible I’d prefer to stick with one colour for at least a couple of years to save time and money.

Sounds lovely

I’d paint it a khaki shade, or another muted green tone. Would look lovely with cream and copper accessories whilst it’s a spare room.

as a nursery it could be woodland themed, jungle themed. Green also looks great with pink.

Ooo yes that sounds nice. I often see a lot of green tones I like too. Thank you
