Dream house

So dream long term house has come up for sale. My house is already on market though its slow going.

I'm due a decent pay out in the coming months even if house dosent sell I'd be able to just about buy new house with a mortgage.

Is there a anyway I can ask the sellers to wait untill my pay out comes so we don't loose out? Is that even a thing?
Probably really cheeky but I cannot explain how much I love this house it has everything on the check list.

If you're due a payout in a couple of months, are you able to get the mortgage agreed in principle now? Conveyancing normally takes at least 6 weeks, so you're probably fine.

If you're that concerned, put an offer in stating that your house is on the market already, but you'll be in a position to buy without it selling within three months.
