Renovation- what did you do to survive?

Upstairs is being remodelled and bathroom resized and fitted. Boiler being moved. We're moving downstairs for 4-5 weeks while work is done. Any tips on surviving the upheaval? We have a downstairs loo with decent size sink for washing. shudders

Camping shower in the garden, or join the gym and use theirs.

Pop up bath in the garden that you can fill up with a hose from the kitchen? You can wear a swimming costume.

Wine and frequent meals out.

Could you book a weekend away or go and visit friends or family for a weekend to escape it for a bit?
