Deep clean and completion dates?

A dumb question, forgive me, I've never sold a house before and not quite sure on how to approach it.

How do you deep clean your house ready for the buyer on completion day?

Do you do it a week earlier with all your packing lying about and maintain it? Organise it for the morning of completion (which sounds stressful enough)?

What did you do?

Just the best you can, really.

Clean as you pack, cupboard shelves etc.

Have wiped window sills and as much skirting board as visible. etc

Clean the oven in advance.

Then do what you can as the removal team empty rooms, without ever getting in their way.

They may well be finished in time to give you an hour’s cleaning time. Are you moving far?

Decently clean is ok, leave a toilet roll and hand soap in the bathroom.
