Moving to Kent House from Dulwich

Considering to move to Kent House from Dulwich, we are getting a much bigger house with a lovely garden. DD is in school in Dulwich and she will use the school coach. I am having a last minute wobble though, any mums out there who has done the move? Any thoughts, did you missed Dulwich?

We recently moved here from another area in SE London. Kent House is great. It’s green (allotments, Cator Park), has quite a relaxed feel, nice people/street parties etc. It’s better connected to central London than where we were (closer in). Beckenham village and the swimming pool/gym/soft play are walking distance and the Crystal Palace triangle is 10 minutes on the bus. I think Kent House is a great alternative to Dulwich if you are looking for a larger house/bigger garden. I’m very happy with our move.

Thanks @PiqueNique , I am now looking forward to the move. Feels like a no brainer 🤗.

@SouthLondonM agree with pp it’s a lovely area, lots of useful shops in Penge some good restaurants & within walking distance of Beckenham high street for larger range of supermarkets/bars/restaurants, Kelsey park & croydon recreation ground, lots going on for family’s & plenty of facilities.
enjoy your new home.
