How long to moving date?

Does anyone know the average time to completion from the end of a chain currently? Our vendors are still to find something but just wondering what is realistic. Is it just how long is a piece of string????

It's absolutely impossible to answer such a question.

The vendors of the property might find somewhere to buy tomorrow, or not see anywhere until September.

Then it might take 8 weeks of 18 weeks, or longer.

Until the chain is complete above all bets are off.

For England, 12-16 weeks from everyone starting conveyancing, if everything goes smoothly.

But the more complicated the chain, and the speed at which everyone responds will also affect things. Id be looking at 4 months minimium from chain completion unless everyone is very driven.

Yes England. It's all so up in the air. We are powering through any requirements sent to us so nothing waiting on us. I guess that's all we can do.
