We were invited to our pre-completion inspection by our developer David Wilson- when asking a snagging company about this they informed us that they will only be allowed to inspect and report on minor visual defects which the developer hasn't told us about. Is it worth it to hire a snagging company in that case? and if we do it ourselves are we allowed a proper inspection everywhere and if we spot anything more substantial does that mean they won't fix it? would we be safe if anything is missed with the 2 year warranty?
