Replacing steep steps to access property

We're considering offering on a house built on a hill, that has a lot of steps going up to the front door. The steps are really putting me off. Has anyone successfully replaced steps going up to a steep property with a winding pathway? I'm wondering if that would be a solution or if the path would either have to be crazily winding or would ending up being too steep too.

We discounted somewhere that had a steep path & drive (the neighbours had steep steps) because I couldn’t imagine how one would navigate it in ice/snow and also how we would get the bin up/down!

There doesn’t seem to be enough frontage to make a winding path there that isn’t too steep tbh but maybe that’s the photo angle?

Yes it's the thought of ice and snow that's worrying me! It's all one house in the picture (2 semi detached houses that have been combined into one) so the path could go all the way across and back again. It might feel like a faff to go all that way just to get jn and out of the house though!

We have, at the front of the house but we have a large space out front, we've terraced the huge and steep back garden.
Shallow steps on a diagonal, sort of hidden by planting, no photo as too outing!
Snow/ice etc you preempt and use grit, we decided to buy this house because the views and so amazing.
