If we like Greenwich…

Where else will we like? We both lived here for a few years in our 20s and it’s our favourite part of London (the park, village feel, museums, river, very pretty). We are now moving back with a 12 month old and I can’t see us living anywhere but. However, realistically it’s a bit too far from our family who are in north Hampshire and Surrey. I don’t know west London well at all - is there anywhere similar? Beyond a ‘Greenwich feel’ , other desirables are family friendly, commutable to the city for DH and 2-3 beds garden flat minimum for around 900k. Thanks!

Nothings really like Greenwich because of the observatory and naval college - but maybe somewhere on the other end of the river like Richmond - river, a villagey feel and old buildings

Barnes?

Richmond, Wimbledon?

I would say Richmond too! Greenwich is brilliant though!

Kingston?
Pretty old town centre, on the river, Hampton Court, Bushy Park, great shopping.

I used to live in Kingston upon Thames. Walk across the river, through Hampton Court Park. Beautiful. Excellent road routes to Hampshire / Surrey.

And you could buy a house with garden and off street parking for your budget.
