Sold house price incorrect on land registry

The price we sold our house for is incorrect on the sold price on the land registry. Is it the buyer's or seller's responsibility for this? Does it matter that it's wrong?

buyer's or seller's solicitor*

how wrong?

The buyers solicitor logs this with land registry. Ask your solicitor to query this.

Is it showing the latest transaction? I have property I purchased 9 months ago still not showing on Land Registry, apparently they have a backlog.

Are you sure? They use the figure from the TR1.

We had this. Sold a flat for £125k ish (can’t remember exactly) and it was listed as selling at £188k. This happened over 10 years ago.
We never did anything about it- the buyer might benefit in the future if it becomes a rental and he sells for capital gains calculations. I thought it must be the buyer’s responsibility.
