Offer on new build

We have an offer on our house, buyer has a short chain. We like a new build, which is 560k and they offer stamp duty. We had to reduce ours 30k. How likely would the builders be to accept 530k? They seem quite desperate but they have rejected to part exchange with us before...

If you are likely to exchange by end of June, then it’s possible.

We got 20k off our new build but we were able to offer and complete in 2 months before their end of financial year.

That's a good point. We have a few more viewings lined up, so hopefully someone chain free will make an offer and we can use that with them to negotiate 🤞🏼
