Ranking homelink

Im on band A homelink. How long does it take?

im 3 months in now. The rank changes from 1-5 to 6-10 each day some days up, some days down.

I never managed to finish 1-5

so never actually get shortlisted.

anyone know if there is an average waiting time. And if their rank goes up and down randomly

Hi there,
It depend what band you have.Are you in band A,Band B etc?
If you are in Band A you will be high priority.
Furthermore it depends where the property you bidding for is located, how many other people applied for that property what priority bands are they etc.Some people are with medical needs which mean they are with higher priority I presume. Good luck and hopefully you will be shortlisted soon in 1-5.

I have finally got shortlisted 1-5
has been shortlisting for nearly a week now thou so not sure what that means. Have had no email or phone call as yet so fingers crossed.
im located cambridge city council. A lot of bids of property’s 200 Sometimes more on each one.

if you are 1-5 how do you know what position you are in as in 1st 2nd ect…

Hi Steve,

Once shortlisting is over you will get notification for your exact position .So Let say if you are 1-5 you will know if you are first second etc.I think if you are from 1-5 you will be invited to view the property. I presume you are with Homelink if you are in Cambridge. You will get notification on your account .You can check all information is on their site.Fingers Cross you will be first in the list so you can see the property first.

yes based in Cambridge on homelink.
it’s been 2 weeks now the shortlisting, but only today the ranking has changed to 1-5 in all 4 property’s. Thought could only be 1-5 I. One.

so Isit possible I could be 5th In them all? And not get any.

really hope I get one. Still no contact from anyone for view .

hey, I didn’t get the flat that I posted. But was offered a different one 2 weeks later. Have moved in already.

Hi congrats on getting ur flat! I am in similar position to u..been band A medical need since Jan ‘22. Finished 1-5 ages ago then not been 1-5 again til now. Never been offered a viewing. Had lots of assessments done & even contacted local councillor & MP but still nothing. How does it work when u finally get offer pls? Been shortlisting since thurs. Ty

Hi, can I have one more question?
When they offered the property to you, were you the one on top of the list to view? So basically viewing means you got the flat? Or does it work like they offer viewing to more people? Thank you!

so I’m currently Band C and have been for a year and a half in the last month I have started ranking in at position 6-10 but have never been offered anything. This week I bid on 2 flats same building and ranking 6-10 on both does anybody actually getting offered anything with this rank? I get so close to 1-5 and in the last couple hours I drop to 6-10
