Hello

Does anyone know the costs to remove and dispose of an asbestos garage roof? I’m being quoted over £2k.

I got a few quotes last week for the same thing.. between £2,500 to £3,000 is what they came back with.

Unfortunately it is expensive to remove asbestos because of the procedures which need to be used as it is dangerous.

If the roof isn't damaged then leave until you can afford to have it removed correctly.

You can remove it yourself, some council run tips will let you take it there. Ours is 2 ( double ) bagged a week.

Hi there! When it comes to removing and disposing of an asbestos garage roof, it's essential to prioritize safety and follow the necessary regulations. Asbestos removal can be a costly process due to the specialized equipment and precautions involved. While a quote of over £2k may seem high, it's important to consider the expertise and safety measures required for this delicate task. To ensure you're getting a fair price, I recommend obtaining multiple quotes from licensed and reputable asbestos removal companies. Make sure the quotes include all the necessary services, such as proper removal, disposal, and adherence to safety protocols.

I would go with this if you can. There is lots of advice online about how to go about it safely.
