External wall removal - possible?

Hi, I've just been to view a house with a great extension, however if the original external wall could be removed it would be phenomenal.
Would this even be possible?
I've tried googling but nothing helpful

It depends, you may need to leave the edges and maybe pillars of the original wall to support new beams to carry the weight above. You should be able to remove most of it, depending on the span, but definitely a job for a builder and could be expensive.
