Need to remove light switch - screws covered by flip part

I have a ‘screwless’ light switch cover, there you can take part of it off to get to the screws so you can take the whole thing off. But the screws are partly covered by the flip buttons.

Any idea how I can take them off? The guy who fitted them must have been able to get to them somehow

I need to take it slightly off so I can add a trim surround thing to hide the cracks around it
