What kind of survey?

We are buying a 1950s house that underwent extensive renovation 20 years ago (conversion from a bungalow) and has a few out buildings. Should we go for a level 2 or level 3 survey?

As it was 20 years ago, L2. If it was 5, I would go 3.

Why is a USA University posting a survey on a British Internet forum?

Straight away that survey won’t be statistically sound due to open / uncontrollable nature of the survey sample/ the self selecting nature of the participants.

But no doubt we will see lobby groups turning up at Staff Network events, quoting it, and then whatever eye-catching quotes/ stats have been manufactured by the flawed “survey” process being repeated and shared at other events by Network members who are well intentioned but completely clueless on evidence, surveys, stats etc.
