Lender checks before Mortgage release of funds

I'm due to complete this Friday. I'm panicking. Does anyone know what checks do lenders do just before releasing the funds for mortgage?
I been very unlucky in the last couple of months where I had problems with my car and had to spend quite a bit of money to get it repaired, including taking money from the savings account in order to pay for the repairs.
Will this show on any checks they might carry out?
Thank you x

It’s only really a last minute credit check they sometimes do, so unless you’ve recently taken loads of credit you’ll be fine!

You only need to worry if you have taken out a large amount of credit.

I am not sure they check everyone anyway. Spot checks seem more likely.

Thank u for the reassurance. My mortgage broker said the lender confirmed the money will be in by completion date.
Fingers crossed, is all done now.
