If we don't get a sale soon, will the market "die down" over the summer?

Coming to the end of 12 weeks with current agent end May, need get a new one but I am going into hospital mid-June so thinking should I defer new agent till July? Will missing basically the whole of June mean that realistically we won't see new buyers till the Autumn?

Usually I believe it is expected to - however in lots of parts of the country, the market is pretty dead at the moment regardless, which I feel might mean the difference isn't that apparent. I would leave it on - obviously being for sale for ages isn't ideal, but as a property that is struggling to sell, I would be too paranoid about potentially missing the right buyer if you leave it off for a long time.
