London Colney, St. Albans- How's this Area to live

Could you let me know your views about London Colney, St. Albans. Is it a nice place to live? Any areas to avoid in London Colney?

It's a bit sprawling suburban type place. Doesn't feel like it has a heart. Cheaper than at Albans tho. No idea re school catchment but very close to the m25 which is good for that. No where near as nice as St Albans but I've never loved there. Just passed through.
